We say it all the time. We complain about it. Yet nothing is done because the mindless masses will flock to the lowest common denominator that they try to feed us. This in turn only feeds the machine that squirts out mindless drivel.

Yet I have to say it again "Hollywood is out of ideas"

There are plans to re-make Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

WHY?!?!?!?

This was a movie of the 80's. It screamed 80's. To "modernize it" will fail badly.

I heard something worse than this.

Make sure you swallow any food or drink in your mouth before reading further.

Madonna wants to do a remake of Casablanca With her in Ingrid Bergman's role. Fortunately, she's getting stiff opposition from studio execs, but the woman is richer than Midas and could probably put the money up herself.

I'm horrified.

(with Rick's accent) "Of all the S&M joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine."

Further proof that they are out of ideas: due to comparisons between Wall-E and Short Circuit, Dimension Films has bought the rights to remake Short Circuit. Hollywood has no shame.
